The Effie Awards, one of Colombia's most anticipated events in the advertising industry, were held on May 17th and brought together advertisers and their advertising, media and digital agencies. The awards saw a record 272 entries submitted, out of which 58 winners were selected.
The winners were evaluated by 100 judges that focused on analyzing the goals accomplished for each campaign across the categories of amongst others, food, hygiene and personal care, financial services, promotions, relationship marketing and social transformation.
Gold awards were given to Alpina Productos Alimenticios, Bavaria, Kimberly Colpapel, Daimler Colombia, Banco Davivienda, Ministerio de Defensa Nacional, Alpina, Jardín Plaza, Arcángeles, Nestle Purina, compañía Colombia automotriz, Avesco, Inversiones Inmobiliarias Arauco and Éxito.
The Grand Effie was awarded to Daimler Colombia and Aguayo Advertising for its campaign Vladdo, for the Mercedes Benz C-Class.
